We're always striving to help our Panthers shine their brightest, but they're about to *literally* shine brighter as we undergo our stadium lighting update! The stadium and track will be closed to the public until Monday, July 1st due to stadium lighting construction.
UPDATE Wednesday, June 19 6:10PM: Based on the update received this evening from the National Weather Service, Aransas Pass ISD operations will resume as normal tomorrow, Thursday, June 20 for students and staff. UPDATE WEDNESDAY, JUNE 19 2:30PM: Pursuant to Board Policy BE(LEGAL), which states that a board that is prevented from convening an open meeting that was otherwise properly posted under Government Code 551.041 because of a catastrophe, including flood or rain storm, may convene the meeting in a convenient location within 72 hours pursuant to Government Code 551.045, the Aransas Pass ISD Board of Trustees will postpone the Special Meeting scheduled to occur on June 19, 2024 at 7PM. The Board of Trustees will instead convene this Special Meeting on Thursday, June 20, 2024 at 7PM. The posted notice of the Special Board Meeting has been revised to reflect this change.
APISD Administration will receive an update from the National Weather Service at 5:30PM, and will make a determination following the update regarding program scheduling on Thursday, June 20. Stay safe Panthers!

APISD Administration is actively monitoring tropical weather conditions. At this time, there are no anticipated delays or closures of the ACE Summer Program, the Summer Food Service Program, or the Athletic Department summer activities. Any ACE Summer Program changes related to field trips will be communicated to parents and guardians via Class Dojo. Students took the State of Texas Assessments of Academic Readiness (STAAR®) earlier this spring, and soon parents and guardians will receive assessment results. The state assessment is one of many ways to measure student learning. Teachers will use STAAR results along with other information to support student learning in the new school year.
Beginning June 7 for STAAR end-of-course assessments and June 14 for STAAR grades 3–8 assessments, STAAR results will be viewable by logging into Skyward Family Access.
