The Aransas Pass ISD Board of Trustees recognized the Panthers and Employees of the Month at their September 9, 2024 Regular Board Meeting.

student receiving an awardCollins Mata is a 2nd grade student at Faulk Elementary. Collins shows up everyday ready to work and has such a positive attitude. She excels at everything she does and is so eager to help others that may be struggling because she loves to help her classmates and her teacher. She is an awesome friend that enjoys seeing others learn and succeed. She has excellent manners and is a positive role model for her classmates. Collins truly models Panther Pride and Spirit everyday.


student receiving an awardSteve Cruz is a 4th grade student at Charlie Marshall Elementary. Steve consistently demonstrates kindness, respect, and a genuine desire to help others.. His dedication to his studies is evident in his hard work and the thoughtful way he approaches every task. Always polite and considerate, Steve treats his fellow students and teachers with the utmost respect, setting a high standard for behavior. We are proud to have Steve as our Panther of the Month!


student receiving an awardAngely Rivera is a 6th grade student at A.C. Blunt Middle School. Angely has demonstrated all the qualities that we look for in an AC Blunt student. Standout qualities such as integrity, conscientiousness, citizenship, and superb attention to detail. Angely does all this without being asked, nor does she do it for praise or affirmation. There is an innate desire to make herself, her friends, and her school better because she was there.


student receiving an awardEmmanuel Rangel is a junior at APHS. Emmanuel has been an exceptional student. He has shown his leadership skills with NJROTC, involved in Technical Theater, and he was inducted into National Honor Society his sophomore year. He is always ready and willing to lend a helping hand and always has a friendly smile on his face. Emmanuel knows to take initiative and works hard to make every thing that he is involved in the best that it can be. APHS is proud to name Emmanuel Rangel as our Panther of the Month.

Ms. Cantu was selected as the employee of the month due to her hard work, dedication, and her continuous positive attitude to the profession. Mrs. Cantu has demonstrated love, patience, and humor which has enabled her to be a great teacher and asset to Faulk Elementary.


staff member receiving an awardTerri Medina is a 4th grade reading and social studies teacher at CMES. This is her 26th year with Aransas Pass ISD! Ms. Medina is the 4th grade team leader- she was up here in the summer working hard on organizing curriculum, she is on the district advisory committee, campus advisory committee, is a mentor teacher to incoming educators, and is a highly appreciated member of the Charlie Marshall Elementary school staff! Congratulations Ms. Medina!

Ms. Jaramillo has been an individual who we have been able to depend on in moments of technical crisis during presentations, support during campus MAP testing, chaos management during student lunches, and most importantly, a trusted adult for our students in their time of need. The peace of mind that Ms. Jaramillo has afforded her colleagues and administrators is priceless and so appreciated. Congratulations Ms. Jaramillo!


staff member receiving an awardJenna Adame is the heartbeat of APHS. She runs the front office, coordinates all of our substitutes every morning, and keeps Mr. Rombs straight. She always has a smile on her face and a friendly welcome when visitors come to campus. She has completely changed the culture of the front office and is always willing to lend a helping hand. Having graduated from APHS, Jenna understands the importance of our values and culture and works hard to make every day an amazing one for our students, staff, and families. We are proud to have Jenna Adame as our Employee of the month.

Ms. Schmidt was named Employee of the month for the excellent work she has done to support the communication and social media efforts of the APISD Athletic Department. The work she is doing to support our athletes and coaches is making a difference in increasing the support of our school community. Thank you Ms. Schmidt!

Lupe is very dependable, reliable, and ready to step up when she is needed. Lupe has made a difference in the areas she is responsible for and has shared many great ideas with us to make work easier.
