FAFSA Night
Wednesday, October 10th starting at 5:30 PM 

Have your FAFSA ID and Password ready. 
Bring all 2017 Tax documents.

Come by the Counseling Office for more details.



COLLEGE AND CAREER SCHEDULE AND INFORMATION

FOR OCTOBER
Friday, October 5th - Stephen F. Austin State University  9 to 2 PM
Saturday, October 6th - SAT Test
Wed., October 10th - PSAT for all Juniors and FAFSA NIGHT starting at 5:30
    hosted by APHS and Texas A&M Kingsville
Friday, October 12th - Texas A&M University visits.  1030 to 1 PM
Friday, October 19th - University of Houston at Victoria will visit from 8am to 3pm
Saturday, October 27th - ACT Test

Parents of APHS Seniors.  It is crucial that students make sure that everything is
in order so that you senior WILL graduate on Friday, May 31st 2019. 

     This includes:

1.  Checking their credits.
2.  Making sure they complete their spring classes with good grades.
3.  Making sure they have received credit for any failed classes.
4.  Check to see if they have to make up attendance hours.
5.  Pay attention to all announcements and communications regarding graduation.

Seniors also need to complete their FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid), Apply Texas and to apply for as many scholarships as possible.

The counseling office is always ready to assist students with any of these items.
If you as a parent or guardian have any questions or concerns, please give us a call or come by the counseling office.
