Parents of APHS Seniors.  It is crucial that students make sure that everything is
in order so that you senior WILL graduate on Friday, May 31st 2019.  SEE CALENDAR BELOW:

     This includes:

1.  Checking their credits.
2.  Making sure they complete their spring classes with good grades.
3.  Making sure they have received credit for any failed classes.
4.  Check to see if they have to make up attendance hours.
5.  Pay attention to all announcements and communications regarding graduation.

Seniors also need to complete their FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid), Apply Texas and to apply for as many scholarships as possible.

The counseling office is always ready to assist students with any of these items.
If you as a parent or guardian have any questions or concerns, please give us a call or come by the counseling office.

Remember to complete your FAFSA, Apply Texas and all available scholarships.    Be aware of all college/career admission and scholarship deadlines. Continue to keep up your grades and attend school every day.


March 11th – March 15th – SPRING BREAK

March 29th – Cap & Gown Deadline  *after March 29th contact

April 5th – Local Scholarship Deadline

April 18th – UIL Concert Sight Reading

April 19th – Holiday, Good Friday

April 25th – NJROTC Awards Ceremony

May 2nd – National Honor Society (NHS) Induction

May 11th – Prom at Port Aransas Civic Center

May 16th – Senior Awards

May 21st – Torch Awards – Aransas Pass Civic Center

May 23rd – Senior Walk

May 27th – Holiday, Memorial Day

May 31st – Graduation Rehearsal and Ceremony at Aransas Pass Civic Center                                               **Followed by Project Graduation at the High School

Seniors, do not forget about the FASFA or Federal Student Aid for college and post-secondary schooling.  Visit or come by the counseling office for more information.
